ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE NDA WRITTEN EXAMINATION RESULTS, QUALIFIED CANDIDATES' INTERVIEWS, ANNOUNCEMENT OF FINAL RESULTS, AND ADMISSION TO THE TRAINING COURSES OF THE FINALLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES:

Candidates who achieve the minimum qualifying marks in the NDA & NA written test as determined by the Commission at their discretion will be put on a list by the Union Public Service Commission. Such candidates must appear before a Services Selection Board for the NDA & NA Intelligence and Personality Test, where those selected for the Army/Navy wings of the NDA and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of the Indian Naval Academy will be judged on their officer potential. In addition to the mentioned requirements, those selected for the Air Force must also pass the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS). If they are eligible for SSB and willing, candidates who have the Air Force as one of their top selections will also participate in CPSS.

NDA EXAM SELECTION PROCEDURE 2025

•UPSC conducts the NDA exam in two stages: a written test and an SSB Interview.
•The first stage is the written exam, in which candidates must perform competently to proceed further with the selection process. Candidates who clear this stage will be called for an SSB Interview.

Note - Every candidate for the Air Force's Flying Branch only takes the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) (Pilot Aptitude Test) once. His first-test scores will consequently stand as valid for all subsequent interviews he has with the Air Force selection board. A candidate who receives a negative score on the CPSS is not eligible to sit for the general duties (pilot) branch, naval air arm, or flying branch admission exams at the National Defence School.
