NABARD ASSISTANT MANAGER IN GRADE A EXAMINATION SYLLABUS 2024

The Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, Economic and Social Issues, and Agriculture and Rural Development portions make up the majority of the seven sections that make up the preliminary exam for the NABARD Assistant Manager 2024 Exam.

A descriptive English test will be included in the main exam's three phases to determine an applicant's level of written English ability. For those who are chosen, there will be an interview in addition to these two papers.

There are 200-mark MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) for the NABARD Assistant Manager Grade A Phase I - Preliminary Examination for both Grade A levels.

Test of Reasoning – 20 questions, English Language – 30 questions, Computer Knowledge – 20 questions, General Awareness – 20 questions, Quantitative Aptitude – 20 questions, Decision making - 10 questions, Economic & Social Issues (with focus on Rural India) – 40 questions, Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India) - 40 questions.

There is no fixed syllabus for NABARD Grade A & B Exam

NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A MAIN Examination: The NABARD Grade A Mains Examination consists of two papers. Paper I is a descriptive test on General English and Paper II will be of multiple-choice-based questions depending on the posts selected.

Paper-I-General English: (Descriptive -writing skills -online through the keyboard). The paper will have descriptive questions.

Essay, Précis writing, Comprehension and Business/Office Correspondence. The paper on English shall be framed in a manner to assess the writing skills including expressions and understanding of the topic

I) For Grade A (RDBS):

i) General Discipline as at (i) in Table 1 of NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A Notification -Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India)

II) For Grade A Rajbhasha:

The Paper will have multiple-choice and descriptive questions.

Proficiency in Hindi including Translation from English to Hindi and vice versa. The analytical and drafting ability of the candidate shall also be assessed from the descriptive paper.

The paper will be based on proficiency in interpreting various Laws viz., Banking, Negotiable Instruments, Company, Industrial and Cooperative Laws, Cyber laws, Commerce/Property transactions, Rural non-life insurance, direct financing, staff matters and good experience in drafting various types of documents
