Central Bank of India SO Eligibility Criteria2023
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria in terms of nationality, age restriction, and educational background in order to apply for the Central Bank of India SO exam 2023.
Nationality:A candidate must be :
(i) a citizen of India, or
(ii) a subject of Bhutan, or
(iii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st of January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and the East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
As long as the candidate falls under categories (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) above, they must be someone in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been given by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection, the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him

The selection Procedure for the Central Bank of India recruitment consists of two stages:
- Central Bank of India SO: Online Written Exam
- Central Bank of India SO:Interview
Central Bank of India SO Online Written Test
Candidates must take a written exam that will be conducted online. The official notification will contain information about the Central Bank of India SO Syllabus, Central Bank of India SO Exam Format, and test length. The written exam will judge the candidates' subject-matter expertise and knowledge. On-line tests will be conducted through CBI/ or any other examiner decided by the Bank and the mode of test will be decided by the Bank.
Central Bank of India SO Personal Interview:
Candidates who qualify for the Central Bank of India SO written test will be called for a Central Bank of India SO personal interview. The interview will be conducted to assess the candidates’ suitability for the position. It will carry a weightage of 100 marks.
After the Personal Interview, shortlisted candidates in order of merit in the written test and Personal Interview will have to be undertaken.
