RPF SI Selection Procedure 2024

The selection process for the RPF (Railway Protection Force) Sub Inspector (SI) in 2024 consists of several key stages designed to evaluate candidates comprehensively. Here’s a concise overview of the selection stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
• This is the first phase, where candidates will face a test comprising 120 questions across three sections: General Awareness (50 questions), Arithmetic (35 questions), and General Intelligence & Reasoning (35 questions).
• The test duration is 90 minutes, with a scoring system of 1 mark for each correct answer and a penalty of 1/3 mark for incorrect answers.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
• Candidates who qualify in the CBT will proceed to the PET, which assesses physical fitness through activities such as running and jumping.
• The PMT evaluates candidates against specific physical standards, including height and chest measurements for male candidates.
3. Document Verification:
• After successfully completing the PET and PMT, candidates must verify their documents, including educational qualifications and identity proof. This step is crucial for confirming the authenticity of the candidates' applications.

RPF SI 2024- How to Apply

To apply for the RPF (Railway Protection Force) Sub Inspector (SI) position in 2024, candidates need to follow these steps:

• Go to the official RPF website or the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) website.
2. New Registration:
• Click on the ‘New Registration’ link on the homepage of the online registration portal.
3. Read Instructions:

4. Select Zonal Group:
• Choose the Zonal Group to which you wish to apply.
5. Register for the Exam:

MODES OF FEE PAYMENT:

a) ONLINE fee payment only through internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI will be accepted. All applicable service charges shall be borne by the candidate.

b) Fee can be paid by the candidates through ONLINE mode only. There will be no option to pay fee through any other mode.

c) Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and will be summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained.
