OVERVIEW OF IBPS CLERK EXAM DETAILS
The IBPS Clerk or IBPS Common Recruitment Process for Clerksexamis conducted yearly by IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection). It is the governing body in charge of recruiting fresh staff members for the public sector banks in India.
Each year, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for positions in the Clerical Cadre at 11 Public Sector Banks. Most of the bank's shares are held by the Indian government's ministry of finance or one of the state governments, making public sector banks the largest category of government-owned organisations in India. IBPS will be conducting the Clerk examination for the 14th consecutive year in 2024–2025, hence the name IBPS Clerk CRP XIV. The preliminary test and the main exam are the two parts of the IBPS Clerk exam. Thus, those who pass both of these exams are chosen for the post. IBPS Clerk 2024 online registration will begin on July 1, 2024, and the deadline to submit an online application is July 21, 2024, according to the IBPS Clerk 2024 short notification.
IBPS will conduct two-tier exams to hire IBPS Clerk CRP XIV. All applicants who successfully register for the IBPS Clerk CRP XIV will receive an invitation to the Preliminary IBPS Clerk Examinations. A specific number of students will be shortlisted for each of these exams based on their performance in the preliminary exam. The shortlisted applicants will then receive invitations to the IBPS Clerk Main Exams. The Preliminary Examination will have fewer questions and a shorter time limit. The IBPS website will soon post detailed announcements containing all the information regarding to the IBPS Clerk Preliminary and Main Examinations.

However, it should be noted that successful candidates for the CRP Clerk who have received scorecards and meet the required eligibility requirements must then submit applications to any of the participating banks they choose as and when individual banks call for applications, providing their contact information and their CRP scores. Then, for the purpose of final selection, each bank will independently shortlist individuals and conduct its own selection procedures, such as interviews.
The eligibility requirements in terms of age, education, proficiency in the official language of the State/UT for which he wishes to apply, experience (if any), the minimal required level of IBPS clerk scores in each test and on Total Score (if any), and other factors will be independently announced by each participating Public Sector Bank in a separate recruitment notification that details the vacancies that are available.
IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2024
The recruitment process of IBPS Clerk CRP XIV occurs in two phases:
·Preliminary Examination- The initial phase of the selection procedure is the preliminary exam. It is a computer-based test with questions of the objective variety. Subjects like English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability are frequently covered in exams. To be selected for the main exam, candidates must pass each section.
·Mains Examination- The second phase of the selection procedure is the main exam. It is also computer-based, has objective-type questions, and is administered. General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude are often addressed topics in the main exam. To be considered for further selection, candidates must pass the sectional and overall cutoffs.
