The Intelligence Bureau (IB) Security Assistant/Executive 2022 Exam was held on March 23 and 24, 2022. The exam was divided into two tiers: Tier 1 and Tier 2.

IB Security Assistant and MTS Tier 1 was an objective-type exam that consisted of 100 questions from four sections: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. Tier 2 was a descriptive-type exam that consisted of two sections: Essay Writing and Comprehension and Précis Writing.

IB Security Assistant and MTS Tier 2 Analysis

Essay Writing:

The Essay Writing section consisted of one essay question. Candidates were required to write an essay on a given topic in 30 minutes. The topics were generally related to current events or issues of national importance.

Comprehension and Précis Writing:

The Comprehension and Précis Writing section consisted of one passage and one question. Candidates were required to read the passage and then write a summary of the passage in their own words in 20 minutes.
